Hey there! Nice to e-meet you!
My full name is Alice-Meagan Broughton, but you can just call me Meg.
I am on a mission to help you create healthy, gluten-free, paleo recipes to fuel your next training session or adventure!
I have been eating a strict, gluten-free diet since 2013.
A few trips to the emergency room uncovered a life-long battle with gluten sensitivity.
I eat paleo most of the time, in efforts to keep whole, real foods at the forefront of my diet, steering clear of the processed and refined foods that overwhelm the packaged, gluten-free aisle.
I enjoy a diet rich in meat, poultry, fish, seafood, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds.
And pizza (with real cheese!), in moderation, on my paleo crust of course.
My dedication to food creation started at the ripe age of 21, when my sister and I co-founded an award winning catering company that we operated with grit for 8 solid years.
Passionate about sharing my love for healthy, active living, I have dedicated two decades to coaching, guiding, and instructing (with some fun competition and racing thrown in) activities like snowboarding, mountain biking, running, road cycling and now, cooking.
